With an impressive 800 urban farmers, Graz has the most market days in all of Europe. Instead of traders, farmers themselves proffer their delicious wares. Any shopper will delight in packing their bags full of crusty farmhouse loaves, cured ham or smoked sausage, fish, fruit juice, freshly cut flowers, fruit and vegetables.

The Farmers’ Market at Lendplatz is open Monday to Saturday from 6 am to 1 pm. The market is closed on Sundays and public holidays, although many cafés and restaurants around Lendplatz are also open on Sundays. For the best selection of products, a morning visit is recommended.
