Arriving by car

Free parking with disabled ID

Disabled parking in Graz can be used at any time and free of charge for holders of a parking card for people with disabilities in accordance with § 29b StVO. This also applies to inner-city parking zones.
Good to know: Disabled parking can also be used by people with disabilities who have a permanent residence in an EU country other than Austria and own a respective parking card there.

Arriving by plane

Graz Airport – easy to reach

Graz Airport is situated within the central tariff zone (101) of Grazer Linien public transport, meaning that all tickets for this zone are valid. S-Bahn train S5 from Graz Hauptbahnhof stops 400 metres from the airport. The covered walkway to the passenger terminal can be reached without any steps or kerbs. In addition, accessible bus line 630 goes from Graz Puntigam Bahnhof directly to the airport’s main terminal building.

Arriving by train

Graz main station

Graz main station can be reached with mostly accessible tram lines 1, 4, 6 and 7. Since renovation works were completed in 2020, Graz main station is 100 per cent accessible. The new pedestrian tunnel to the water tower at Waagner-Biro-Straße now also gives direct access to the station when coming from Eggenberg.
