Schlossberg funicular and Schlossberg lift

Comfortably up to the best view over Graz

The Schlossberg is as much a part of Graz as pumpkin seed oil is of Styrian cuisine. You can reach the top either by the Schlossberg funicular, a cable railway that has been operating since 1894, or by the glass Schlossberg lift. As the funicular slowly climbs the hill, the view opens up over the rooftops of the old town. The ride on the Schlossberg funicular is included in zone 101, so your ticket is also valid for the Schlossberg. A separate ticket is required for the Schlossberg lift.
