How do you enable others to be free? This is the question we ask our musicians in an “Academia” – a format popular in the 17th century that combines concert and discourse. After all, personal freedom is inseparably linked to the freedom of those around us.
When making music, we often experience freedom directly – but what does it look like beyond our instruments? With whom do we share our world, our convictions and our perspectives? And what can we do to strengthen one another in our freedom? What does the teapot need, what does the zebra need? What language do they speak – and which one do we speak?
Join us in exploring these questions, ask your own – and let yourself be surprised by the music.
