Beer-Culture Tram: Beer tasting and atmospheric anecdotes about the history of beer aboard vintage tramcar 121
The new Beer-Culture Tram combines tradition with a modern experiential character, creating a special meeting place – for the people of Graz as well as guests of the Graz adventure region.
With only 20 seats, an extensive beer tasting, and entertaining stories about the history of beer, the ride aboard tramcar 121 becomes a truly unique experience.
The tramcar, built in 1909, has belonged to the Tramway Museum Graz since 1969 and was one of the first operational vintage trams of the museum association, which was still under development at the time.
This historic tram takes guests past the magnificent buildings along Conrad-von-Hötzendorf-Straße to Puntigam. From there, we explore Graz’s city center and visit the site of the former Reininghaus brewery. The return journey leads via Annenstraße and the Neutor route to a traditional Graz inn, where the tour concludes.
