Schlossberg Restaurant
At 467 metres above sea level, Restaurant Schlossberg combines outstanding cuisine with sweeping views over Graz. As a partner restaurant of Graz, Austria’s Foodie City, it serves creative dishes and traditional Graz cuisine in a setting that brings contemporary architecture together with the historic surroundings of the Schlossberg.
Completed in 2007, the renovation was designed by Christian Andexer and Georg Moosbrugger, with Erich Prödl jointly responsible for the interior design. The clean, modern design creates both spaces with panoramic views and cosy retreats.
The surroundings were also carefully considered: a spacious forecourt framed by uncovered historic walls was created between the restaurant and the bastion wall. It connects the restaurant with the neighbouring Kasematten open-air stage and brings the history of the site to life.
The SkyBar complements the restaurant, offering another inviting place to linger with views over Graz.

The Schlossberg funicular offers a convenient way to reach the restaurant, which is located directly beside the upper station. Alternatively, take the Schlossberg lift and continue on foot, or follow the walking paths up the hill. The address is Am Schlossberg 7, 8010 Graz.
