Klapotetz Wine Trail

Vineyards, rolling hills and the characteristic clattering of the Klapotetz: The Klapotetz Wine Trail connects the Southern Styrian Wine Trail with the Sausal Wine Trail and is a great option for an excursion from Graz.

The route leads from Arnfels via Eichberg-Trautenburg and Karnerberg, continuing along the Fötschach panoramic road and Langeggerberg almost as far as the Slovenian border. Along the way, there are beautiful views across the vineyards and rolling hills of Southern Styria.

Three routes along the Klapotetz Wine Trail:

• From Großklein, with a connection to the Sausal Wine Trail, via Eichberg-Trautenburg, Karnerberg and the Fötschach panoramic road to Leutschach, where the route connects with the Southern Styrian Wine Trail.
• From Eichberg-Trautenburg to Gündorf, or in the opposite direction.
• From Eichberg-Trautenburg via Karnerberg and Kreuzberg to Großklein.
