Back to what Advent is really all about: contemplation, tranquillity and the warm feeling of cosy togetherness. Amidst the pre-Christmas hustle and bustle, the Advent market at the Eisernes Tor invites you to pause for a moment, take a deep breath and consciously savour the special atmosphere of this time of year.
Around 20 stalls showcase arts and crafts as well as regional delicacies from a wide variety of regions. Delicacies, warming drinks and handmade goods make the market a place of discovery and enjoyment.
An atmospheric lighting scheme bathes the Iron Gate in a festive ambience and creates a meeting place where tradition, enjoyment and the magic of Advent come together in perfect harmony.
The focus is on consciously experiencing the Advent season – with all its small, precious moments.
