On 30 September 2026, Graz city centre will become a meeting place for nature conservation and biodiversity. From 10 am to 5 pm, more than 40 organisations in Herrengasse and the Landhaushof courtyard will showcase the many different aspects of nature conservation in Styria and demonstrate how everyone can help protect nature.
Under the motto "NaturVerbunden Steiermark", visitors can learn how valuable habitats can be protected, restored and connected. Practical examples also help explain the EU Nature Restoration Regulation and show how nature restoration is already being implemented today.
A large exhibition of fruit from traditional orchards, practical talks and plenty of tips on meadows, gardens, forests and waterways bring nature conservation in Styria to life and invite visitors to get involved.
Admission is free and the event is accessible.
