On their major anniversary tour, they are bringing not only decades of musical history with them, but also a new musical director. Alexander Wurz is leading the Egerländer tradition into the future with a fresh sound and his own distinct signature. And even if “The Original Egerländer Musikanten” continue to reinvent themselves time and again, the orchestra stands like few others for lived musical continuity, craftsmanship, precision, and brass music at the very highest level.
