Alex Deutinger & Alexander Gottfarb - A MOMENT’S NOTICE
In A MOMENT’S NOTICE, dancers in ghillie camouflage suits, equipped with large portable mirrors, perform a subtle balancing act between presence and disappearance. Their artistic work unfolds in the beautiful surroundings of the University of Graz Botanical Garden and explores the paradox of blending in whilst remaining completely visible. As plant-like beings, they become non-verbal communicators who reflect the world around them – movements, gestures and energies.
The piece subtly questions how we interact with the world around us, how we see ourselves within a larger ecosystem, and how our actions affect the spaces we inhabit.
