The restaurant meets the following criteria:
There is nothing to be said against regional home cooking, but international cuisine impressively demonstrates the contrasts between countries, their inhabitants and their cultures. Globalization has long since brought international food to our domestic tables, and that's a good thing. As long as it tastes as good as it does at Ristorante il centro on Mehlplatz in Graz. Here, the roots of traditional Italian cuisine are combined with international influences. The goal is inspiring dishes that surprise and make guests happy.
The extensive menu therefore includes a mixed grilled meat platter with fresh vegetables and roast potatoes for two, as well as monkfish with cherry tomatoes and black olives or gilthead seabream whole. Fettuccini with tuna, finely sliced scallops and tomatoes are also not missing, as well as a traditional fish soup, grilled entrecote, vitello tonnato, numerous antipasti, salads and pizzas. The dessert menu surprises with sweet creations such as vanilla ice cream au gratin with raspberries.
The wines of the house are also of selected quality. In addition to grape varieties from Italy, there are also many Styrian wines in the assortment.
