The Magic of Christmas – Christmas Concert at the Franciscan Church in Graz
Traditional carols, classical Christmas music and modern festive songs in a special setting
An evening filled with the sounds of Christmas: On 12 December 2026 at 6.30 pm, “The Magic of Christmas” invites visitors to enjoy a festive concert at the Franciscan Church in Graz.
The programme combines traditional carols and classical Christmas music with modern festive songs. Familiar melodies meet lesser-known pieces, ranging from peaceful and reflective to cheerful and uplifting.
Walter Nöst brings his warm baritone voice to the stage, accompanied by Natalia Hiesberger on piano and Vitaliy Lutsyk on double bass. Together, these long-standing musical collaborators create a varied concert programme in the special atmosphere of the Franciscan Church.
Since 2019, Walter Nöst’s Christmas concerts have become a tradition in Styria and Vienna. In 2026, “The Magic of Christmas” once again offers a wonderful opportunity to take a break from the festive bustle and enjoy the music of the Advent season.
