"Kostprobe" A Taste of What’s to Come – A Glimpse into the Making of a Production at Graz Opera
What better way to get in the mood for a new production than with a sneak preview? Watching and listening whets the appetite… On selected dates, before the start of a stage orchestra rehearsal – during which the performers are not yet in make-up and costume but are already moving around the set – visitors are first given a brief introduction to the production by the production dramaturg. Everyone then watches the rehearsal together until the interval, after which they discuss what they have seen and heard. You couldn’t get any closer to the run-up to the premiere! The meeting point is the entrance foyer of the opera house.
