Three days of running, sporting challenges and unforgettable moments in the heart of Graz

From 8 to 10 October 2027, Graz will once again become a meeting place for running enthusiasts. The Kleine Zeitung Graz Marathon brings runners from near and far to the Styrian capital, with a wide range of races and enthusiastic spectators creating an exciting atmosphere throughout the weekend.

Whether you choose the full marathon over 42.195 kilometres, the half marathon, relay marathon or quarter marathon, the Graz Marathon offers a challenge for experienced athletes and recreational runners alike. Shorter distances, Nordic walking and special races for children and families are also part of the programme.

A running weekend for the whole family

Saturday features the Bambini Sprint, Junior Marathon, Family Run, City Run and Nordic Walk. On Sunday, the main races take centre stage, including the marathon, half marathon, relay marathon and quarter marathon.

The Graz Marathon is not just an experience for participants. Spectators can cheer on the runners along the routes and enjoy the lively atmosphere of this major sporting event.
