Fantastique! – Season Finale Concert with the Graz Philharmonic Orchestra at Graz Opera

The Graz Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Chief Conductor Vassilis Christopoulos, brings the season to a close with two milestones of the orchestral repertoire.

The programme opens with Beethoven's Symphony No. 1, a work that already revealed the composer's innovative spirit while paying tribute to the Classical tradition of Haydn and Mozart. It is followed by Hector Berlioz's Symphonie fantastique, a groundbreaking Romantic masterpiece portraying the feverish visions of an artist consumed by unrequited love.
