Despite all good intentions, the festive season often turns into a big circus every year. Every year, Cirque Noël creates a place where you can escape the circus ring of everyday life for a few hours, engage in new thoughts, be enchanted and inspired.
The Catalan circus company ‘eia’ embodies a form of contemporary circus that places people and their relationships at the centre. In their latest work, the artists explore the theme of change – the passing of time, personal and societal upheavals, and the challenges of a world in crisis.
With impressive acrobatics, subtle humour and great sensitivity, they create a poetic space for reflection. Balancing physical virtuosity with playful imagination, the ensemble explores how change can be achieved and the role art plays in opening up new perspectives.
