Make Advent wreaths, engrave glass and create chocolate treats at the Aufsteirern Christmas Market
Get creative and make your own special Christmas gifts! In 2026, the Aufsteirern Christmas Market on Graz’s Schlossberg hill will once again offer a variety of workshops for children and adults in a festive Advent atmosphere.
From traditional Advent wreath making and decorative glass engraving to delicious chocolate creations, the workshops offer participants the chance to try different techniques and take home something they have made themselves.

Advent Wreath Making with Monika Ritz
- Sunday, 22 November 2026, 11 am – 4 pm
- Materials fee: € 25.00
Glass Engraving Workshop with Silvia Hashold
- Sunday, 29 November and 6 December 2026, 2 – 4 pm on both dates
- For children and adults
- Materials fee: € 15.00
Chocolate Workshop with Angela Kroboth
- Sunday, 13 December 2026, 11 am – 4 pm
- For children
- Materials fee: € 10.00

Getting there by public transport: Tram lines 3 and 5, stop “Schloßbergbahn”. From the lower station, take the Schlossberg funicular up the hill.
