Baba Yaga & Styrian Klezmore Orchestra | Concert at Dom im Berg as part of the folk.art Festival 2026
International ensemble Baba Yaga is one of the most promising newcomers on the world music scene. Inspired by the mythical figure of Baba Yaga from Slavic folklore, five musicians from three countries combine Eastern European sounds, klezmer, Balkan beats and gypsy jazz to create an energetic and captivating musical experience.
With their debut album Grenzenlos (Without Borders), the band celebrates musical diversity, togetherness and the joy of life beyond cultural boundaries.
For this special concert, Baba Yaga will be joined by musicians from the Styrian Klezmore Orchestra. Led by clarinettist and composer Moritz Weiß, the ensemble explores the rich musical traditions of klezmer and the Balkans. Together, they promise a vibrant concert full of rhythm, passion and musical energy.
