A Christmas Concert with a Difference | Guest Performance by the Multicultural Women's Choir SoSamma at Schauspielhaus Graz
The multicultural women's choir SoSamma, conducted by Vesna Petković, once again invites audiences to a Christmas concert with a difference, celebrating cultural diversity and togetherness.
The first part of the evening takes the audience on a musical journey through the Balkans, featuring both the choir's favourite pieces and newly rehearsed compositions. Special guest Zvezdana Novaković, a Slovenian singer and harpist, combines traditional folk music with jazz, classical and electronic influences. Inspired by the songs of her Serbian and Slovenian grandmothers and her studies of Bulgarian folk singing, she brings a fascinating blend of musical traditions to the stage.
The second part of the concert features familiar sounds from pop, rock and jazz. Long-time friend and musical collaborator Sandy Lopičić will once again accompany the choir on piano. As always, the audience can look forward to a few surprises and an atmospheric evening full of music.
