Polyphony of the Danube – Austria I Concert at Klangraum Graz

‘Polyphony of the Danube’ is a concert project that builds musical bridges between Austria and Ukraine. The programme was initiated by the Ukrainian Institute and is presented in collaboration with Klangraum Graz.
The performers are the German cellist and professor at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz, Johannes Krebs, and the Ukrainian pianist Olena Miso. The programme features works by Franz Schubert, Borys Lyatoshynsky and Viktor Kosenko.
Under the motto ‘One River – Many Voices’, the concert brings together Austrian and Ukrainian musical traditions and invites the audience to engage in a musical dialogue within the shared European cultural space.
