A Summer Night of Italian Classics – Teatro d'Opera Italiana
The Orchestra di Teatro d'Opera Italiana invites you on a musical summer journey to Italy. The programme features famous arias, duets and choruses from Italian opera, as well as Neapolitan songs and well-known evergreens such as ‘Nessun dorma’, ‘La donna è mobile’, ‘Brindisi’, ‘’O sole mio’, ‘Santa Lucia’, “Funiculì, Funiculà”, “Caruso”, “Marina” and “L’Italiano”.
The soloists hail from renowned opera houses such as the Rome Opera, La Scala in Milan, the Teatro Regio di Parma and the Mozarteum in Salzburg. Musical direction is in the hands of conductor and violin soloist Bogdan Costache, who will guide the international ensemble through an atmospheric evening filled with bel canto, Italian musical culture and a summery atmosphere.
