New Year's Eve at the Schlossberg Beer Garden
New Year's Eve specialities, DJ music and a relaxed celebration above the rooftops of Graz
Say goodbye to 2026 in a relaxed atmosphere while enjoying panoramic views over Graz! On 31 December, the beer garden on Schlossberg invites visitors to an informal New Year's Eve celebration from midday, with free admission.
A DJ will provide entertainment with popular hits. Guests can also enjoy traditional New Year's Eve specialities, from lucky lentil goulash to the traditional pork dish known as Sauschädl. The programme also includes Feuerzangenbowle (a traditional flaming punch), lead pouring and log nailing.
A sociable way to spend the last afternoon of the year high above the city!

No booking required!
Public transport: Tram lines 3 and 5, “Schlossbergbahn” stop. From the lower station at Kaiser-Franz-Josef-Kai, take the Schlossberg funicular directly to the beer garden near the upper station.
Arriving by car: Driving directly up Schlossberg is not possible. One parking option is the paid Kastner & Öhler underground car park in the city centre. You can find additional parking facilities in the Graz parking garage overview.
