Graz in 3/4 Time – New Year’s Eve Concert at the Stefaniensaal
What better way to bid farewell to 2026 than with a large orchestra, a brilliant young conductor, and a musical program in lively 3/4 time? That is exactly what Styriarte is bringing to Graz for the first time on New Year’s Eve 2026. Graz’s Stefaniensaal provides the festive backdrop, the Graz-based Recreation Orchestra brings its spirit and high spirits to the stage, and the young British global star Alma Deutscher—who has just outgrown her international child prodigy career—takes the baton, performing her own compositions as well. Otherwise, she will immerse herself in the waltz wonderland from Johann Strauss to Richard Strauss, from Rossini to the Graz-born global star Robert Stolz, not to mention her own works and those of Florence Price. Storyteller Christiane Willms will guide the audience through the evening.
