The Graz Christmas markets take place from 11/20/ to 12/24/2026

The seasonal glow of a multitude of lights, atmospheric Christmas markets and a life-size nativity scene made of ice – that is Graz during the run-up to Christmas. Experience Graz during the “5th season” and prepare to be enchanted by its unique atmosphere.

TIP: Uniquely in Austria, all Christmas markets are within easy walking distance!

On Saturdays, 5, 12 and 19 December 2026, everyone can travel free on public transport: Free travel applies within fare zone 101 on all routes with one- or two-digit route numbers. Night buses are excluded.

New Year's Eve in Graz
