More than 154 conventions, with over 46,000 participants from all over the world, came to Graz last year. Around 15 percent of overnight stays can be attributed to convention, seminar or trade fair participation. This indicates more than 130,000 overnight stays each year.

Current congress statistics from the International Congress & Convention Association (ICCA) show that, in global terms, Graz achieves an outstanding 120^th place and, within Europe, takes 65^th place among convention-hosting cities.
