By car in Graz

The use of the Austrian motorways and expressways is subject to payment of a toll. All motor vehicles with a maximum permissible gross weight of up to 3.5t - cars, motor bikes and campervans - are obliged to display the mandatory toll sticker.
» Toll stickers and rates

Apart from the motorways and expressways that are subject to the mandatory toll sticker system, there are also so-called special toll routes in Austria. The special toll levied for these routes (the cost-intensive Alpine crossings) can be paid either directly at the local toll station or in advance by purchasing a video toll card.
