Farmer’s Market on Lendplatz

 

 

 

Graz is officially wearing the titel "Capital of Culinary Delights". We are proud of our regional products, of our 800 (!) farmers in the city and the most market days within a city in Europe. In Graz not the retailers are selling but the farmers themselves.

Many products are grown organically and some of them have a long standing tradition such as the "Käferbohne" (special kind of large beans), apples and of course the pumpkinseed oil.

This market on the Lendplatz, on the right side of the Mur, offers a vast variety of delicacies: home-made bread, bacon, sausages, juices, fresh flowers, vegetables, fish, and meat.

But watch out, this market is for early birds:
