Steirischer Teichland Karpfen

Carps from the region between Deutschlandsberg, in the West, and Hartberg, in the East, are a traditional and popular delicacy, either as a festive dish at Christmas, a Lent meal or a light delicacy in summer.

The fish is offered bone-free, as a fresh fillet or smoked, or additionally, processed in aspic, grilled fillet, smoked fish spread and caviar.
