Parking in Graz
Blue zones
In the centre of Graz there is a charge for parking. In the short-term parking zones, known as the "blue zones", parking is limited to 3 hours and must be paid for. Free parking is allowed for a maximum of 10 minutes. Parking restrictions apply on workdays from 9am - 8pm. At Graz railway station restrictions run daily from 8am - 10pm. On Saturdays restrictions apply from 9am - 1pm (except for the main railway station: 8am - 10pm on payment).
Zone tariff: 60 cents per 1/2 hour
Payable: Monday - Friday 9am - 8pm, Saturday 9am - 1pm
Green zones
The "green zones" are parking spaces subject to a charge but without time restrictions. In addition to the short parking zones in Graz, ten such zones have been established, in which area-wide charges apply on work days, Monday to Friday from 9am - 8pm. Saturday is free of charge.
